Data controller

Under Turkey's Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK"), your personal data is processed by ASAY VAD Otomasyon Teknolojileri Sanayi ve Ticaret Anonim Şirketi ("aSAY VAD") as data controller, within the framework described below.

This notice is for visitors of www.control4.com.tr and for anyone who contacts us through the site or by phone, e-mail or WhatsApp.

Personal data we process

Site survey request form: full name and phone number (required); e-mail address, province, project type and your message (optional); the record that you have read this notice (date, time and IP address).
Contact by phone, e-mail and WhatsApp: the name and contact details you share and the content of your request.
Site visit: technical access logs kept for the secure operation of the site (IP address, date and time, requested page, browser information); with your consent, cookie data for visit statistics and advertising measurement — details in our Cookie Policy.

Purposes

Assessing your request and getting back to you,
Carrying out free site surveys, project design and quotations; pre-contractual discussions,
Where appropriate, forwarding your request to the authorised Control4 integrator (our dealer) in your region and handling the process together,
Keeping communication records and managing your request history,
Operating the site securely and without interruption,
With your consent, measuring site usage statistics and the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns,
Meeting our legal obligations and responding to requests from competent authorities.

Legal grounds

Your personal data is processed on the following legal grounds set out in Article 5 of the KVKK:

Processing directly related to the conclusion or performance of a contract (survey and quotation processes) — Art. 5/2-c,
Our legitimate interests, provided they do not harm your fundamental rights and freedoms (handling requests, secure operation of the site) — Art. 5/2-f,
Fulfilment of our legal obligations — Art. 5/2-ç,
Analytics and advertising cookies and the transfer abroad of the related data — your explicit consent (Art. 5/1 and Art. 9).

How we collect data

Your personal data is collected through the form on our website, e-mail, phone and WhatsApp correspondence and cookies; electronically, by automated or partly automated means.

Who we share data with

Authorised Control4 integrators (our dealers): your request may be forwarded to the appropriate dealer for your region with only the information needed to handle it (name, contact details, project details).
Our service providers: the provider of our web hosting and e-mail infrastructure, operating servers in Turkey; data is processed solely to provide the service.
Google LLC (USA): only if you consent to analytics and/or advertising cookies; that consent includes your explicit consent to the transfer abroad. Details in the Cookie Policy.
Competent public authorities: where required by law, on request.

Retention

Survey request and contact data: 3 years from the date of the request; if a contract is concluded, for the term of the contract and the statutory periods that apply.
Records of consent to this notice: for as long as the related request is kept.
Site access logs: for as long as technically necessary and required by law.
Cookies: for the durations listed in the Cookie Policy.

At the end of these periods your data is deleted, destroyed or anonymised.

Your rights

Under Article 11 of the KVKK you have the right to:

learn whether your personal data is being processed,
request information if it has been processed,
learn the purpose of processing and whether the data is used in line with that purpose,
know the third parties, in Turkey or abroad, to whom it has been transferred,
request correction if it is incomplete or inaccurate,
request deletion or destruction under the conditions of Article 7 of the KVKK,
request that corrections, deletions and destructions be notified to the third parties to whom the data was transferred,
object to a result that is to your detriment arising from analysis by exclusively automated systems,
claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing.

How to apply

You may submit requests regarding your rights, in accordance with the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller and with documents establishing your identity, in writing to the address above or by e-mail to info@asayvad.com.tr. Requests are answered free of charge within 30 days at the latest; where the process involves an additional cost, the fee set by the Personal Data Protection Board may apply.
